Great exposure to cybersecurity, but fast-paced environment
Pros
I have been working as an SDE III and have had the opportunity to work on cybersecurity products focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), PII protection, identity management, and compliance. The work involves solving real customer problems and provides good exposure to cloud technologies, security, enterprise-scale applications, and modern development practices. One thing I appreciate is the opportunity to work across multiple products and domains, which helps broaden technical knowledge instead of being restricted to a single area. Apart from the standard health insurance coverage, the company also provides access to an in-house hospital facility for employees. This is a rare benefit and can be very helpful when medical support is needed.
Cons
The work environment is fast-paced, and priorities can change based on business needs, which sometimes requires quick context switching.
