Pros

The flexibility is their biggest advantage, lovely team, very young team but they are nice to work with.

Cons

More structure and transparency around promotions and salary increases. To be fair, many hardworking people have been promoted and absolutely deserved it. However, those who aren't promoted don't always receive clear feedback on the reasons why or a roadmap for what they need to do to get there in the future.

Pros

Tactical is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever worked. It’s a high-performing environment, but what makes it special is the people – supportive, funny, and genuinely great to be around. Leadership is always there with guidance and encouragement, and they really care about the team. We work hard, but we also have a lot of fun along the way. There’s a real focus on learning and growing, not just for the company but for each person individually. They invest in our development and constantly look for ways to help us improve. It’s rare to find a place that combines ambition with such a positive, people-first culture – and Tactical does it brilliantly.

Cons

None so far - keeping things objective and eye on the prize

Pros

My time here was very fulfilling. - The founder is a visionary who can execute. And he has executed really well. In my experience, it's rare to find someone who cares about the growth of clients' businesses as much as his own. In turn, this has resulted in growth with clients and people. I was here for about 4 years, so I saw it first hand. I was also at the company in COVID, the way we were taken care off, even after some clients left, was exceptional. We didn't have pay cuts and the CEO fought hard to keep the team. It worked & paid off. He's a good guy and in my experience in the MENA agency world, this is rare. - Some of the best clients, the opportunities to do great work are plentiful. I saw how much clients loved them too, because they cared. - Company was super invested in the development of the people. I saw at least 10 people start their careers here and grow significantly (myself included). There were some nice initiatives that invest in people personal growth too. (educational courses for free, talks on personal development such as finances from a guy named Andrew Hallam, team days in the city, they used to subsidize gym in our old office too lol, language lessons... they were constantly asking what they could do to aid personal dev). - I only got to work out of the new office briefly, but it was a great space. - Pay is solid and slightly above industry average. The best part is the meritocracy -- my manager put me up for a raise because I was doing a great job outside of the OMFG review cycle. - I was here for a while, and from the few ex-colleagues that I had - we continuously talk about how we miss miss working here citing a) great structure b) great clients and c) great people - I heard from one of my friends that go laid off there in Feb that the company helped them find a new job and the CEO wrote them a personal review

Cons

- The company made a few hiring mistakes particularly with 2 senior creative roles right before I left, but I heard they were quick to correct those mistakes to protect the team. I put it as a con, because I can read here how some people are sad about it, and while it is sad, I'm personally happy that the company tore the "red tape"... it was needed.
