Job Summary

As a Development Engineer Electronics, you’ll be responsible for the research and development of electronic circuits, products and controls solutions for global Signify Dynalite Connected Lighting systems and propositions.

What you’ll do

  • Research into new technologies, electronics components, and circuits.

  • Development of electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.

  • Design verification and validation, to ensure required functionality, compliance, quality, cost & manufacturability.

  • Liaise with other local and global R&D colleagues and teams, material suppliers and manufacturers globally.

Your qualifications

  • BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, with 2 + years of commercial experience in Analogue & Digital electronics design

  • Strong proficiency in Altium E-CAD (PCB Design) & MS Office suite. SolidWorks M-CAD, Adobe suite and programming languages such as C, C++ and Python would be an advantage.

  • Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers implementation, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.

  • Understanding of IEC/EN and UL standards would be an advantage.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and to take ownership of tasks and projects, with a good understanding of Project Management fundamentals and ability to work effectively in a global multi-site, multi-cultural R&D and Manufacturing Team environment.

  • Demonstrated hands-on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes

  • Understanding of project management fundamentals

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Base pay range

The minimum salary is $105K and the max salary is $122K.
