Junior Client Support Engineer - MSP

The Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing position where you'll learn fast and be supported as you grow. Working alongside our senior engineers, you'll take ownership of tickets appropriate to your level and escalate where needed — across a diverse range of SMB environments. No two days look the same.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Diagnose, prioritise, and resolve client issues, escalating to senior engineers when needed
  • Help deploy and manage software and hardware solutions — remotely and on-site
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients across all channels
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to our knowledge base
  • Manage support tickets with professionalism and urgency
  • Travel locally to support client needs

What We're Looking For

The essentials:

  • 1+ years of hands-on technical support experience, OR a relevant qualification (Cert IV / Diploma in IT or similar) with strong hands-on lab or home experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop/server environments, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
  • Some exposure to Microsoft 365 administration
  • Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical problems in plain English
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (police check required)
  • Current Australian driver's licence

Bonus points for:

  • Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (AZ-900, MS-900) or working towards Associate-level
  • Any exposure to Azure, Exchange, Hyper-V, or virtualisation platforms
  • Previous MSP or IT service provider experience
  • A genuine interest in building long-term client relationships
