Pros

Many talented teammates to work with that have experience in many fields of technology and sales.

Cons

Internal promotion and salary guidance is prohibitive of a long term career within Insight.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think it's important to evaluate the processes for employee development and internal career growth. We do a great job of bringing in external talent but sometimes the pay scales cause that talent to leave or internally grown talent to find opportunities elsewhere.

    Lots of good solid people
    Wide range of offerings
    Working with best of breed vendors
    Good training

    Sr leadership is lacking and doesn't have ability to make changes in a timely manner
    Compensation is lacking and seems to reward newer employees and not increase existing employees
    Defining sales roles and responsibilities
    Lack of vendor incentives that management forgoes

    Pros

    Company can sustain revenue from inside sales.
    Some individuals in leadership are concerned with personnel and revenue growth.

    Cons

    Current Senior Executive Leadership has not demonstrated the competencies required to lead an organization through revenue growth and the ability to compete and win customers.

    The Services sector has to determine a direction and effectively develop growth strategies, measure against plan and revise plans to mitigate risks and achieve the corporate goal.
