Pros
I have found Arcadis to be a great place to work since joining six months ago as a Principal Engineer. I have quickly settled into my team, where I feel fully supported by my line manager, and my director is always accessible for work-related queries and professional development, including ICE progression.
The office environment is welcoming and modern, and the social side is excellent — I’ve enjoyed attending both summer and Christmas parties, which have helped me feel part of the wider Arcadis community. The flexibility Arcadis offers enables me to manage hybrid working effectively, balancing my professional responsibilities and home life.
There is a strong sense of progression and development in my team, and I feel optimistic about my future here. Overall, I would highly recommend Arcadis as a place to work, and I hope the rest of my career will continue with the business.
Cons
One area for improvement is that, compared to my previous roles, I have found myself a little less involved in the commercial aspects of projects. While I appreciate the strong support and focus on technical delivery, I would welcome more opportunities to engage with the commercial side of projects and business development
