What is the retirement plan like at AutoZone?

Working within the automotive field and getting to know parts and there functions is a pro.

So so many cons training is bare minimum and usually done by coworkers who very few are actually knowledgeable you have to be proactive and inquire or you'd know nothing. The pay is horrible and so are the benefits 401k is okay but no pay time off no vacation time health is only okay but only for full time workers. Schedule is rediculs changes every week for apparently no reason some times scheduled to close then open no set days off I guess you can mark your self unavailable but then you don't get hours. Management is horrible no one is held accountable and then they complain about it but never do anything to fix it besides over work those willing to work so why even try.

They pay new hires more then employees already working there. They pay nothing towards any benefits, this is for part-time. Also zero PTO or any kind of paid time off for part-time also zero time and half for holidays and that's for everyone all they give is full time and extra day of vacation if they have been here year otherwise zero for that

Job was fairly easy the staff was nice< good benefits and 401k

Can promote within the company, you do have retirement and 401K, you can invest in stock with the company, you can learn how to do other things at your own pace.

If you have a family and you run late here or there, you lose points (they have a points system), you can't really ever get overtime, and my store has a lot of delivery drivers so sometimes I don't have anything to do.
