Poor quality website and system, will get stock wrong or sell things that are no longer being made. Website shut down for days meaning deliveries did not go out resulting in cancellations and lost commission got little recompense. Certain coworkers will actively try to steal sales from you or other Bob's will try to take you off a sale. 100% commission so slow periods are slow. Work weird hours due to retail.

They provide an opportunity lost yo allow all associates to be able to greet and get a customer

Crowded floor compared to other stores like Ashley It’s basically 100% commission. If they have to pay you a base pay one week, they’ll take it out your paycheck the next week and it’s like $360 dollars or so so you can’t really have a slow week, you have to at least make the &360

Bobs is a great company that allows for someone who has the drive to succeed to do so. Income is very good and opportunities for advancement are available for those who have the drive.

Retail hours are not for everyone and commission for earnings is a new muscle for those who have never sold before.

Favoritism, micromanagement, only paid upon delivery, draw against commission can be rough If you're full time you're expected to sell 12 grand in furniture into your next week, but you're only paid on delivery. So if your customer is moving in a month, and wants it next month, that's not helping you make draw for next week. After draw forgiveness you're on your own. Crappy retail hours (bobs needs to schedule you these days!) makes having free time kind of nonexistent every week is different. If you can sell and connect to people you'll do well, some weeks you make money other weeks you're not, but that's sales
