Pros
Pay, maybe, but not worth what comes with it.
Cons
-Unaccountable leadership
-Unprofessional environment
(ex. calling upper leadership daddy)
-managers will be out and push back dates and will blame new staff for said decisions and their managers will believe thats the cause
-No training standardization , each person does everything their own way and there is no real WANT to standardize ANY process
-This company likes control over their contract employees, you won’t be included in meetings (even after asking many times for learning purposes), Theres times they will complain about you needing to be off but when you return and ask team mates what was missed that day they will literally say nothing and show you that their did ..nothing major and that and your emails will show it as well, everyone else takes mon and fri remote, they will make you come in and just sit there, they won’t be online for more than 4 hours , they just want to know your there for a full 8 hours because they have that decision making power. In fact some teams will even let their contract employee be remote from their start date but if your manager wants you to just show up with NO real work to do then oh well. And they will say that is EARNED whilst no one else there seemed to have to earn it ón every other team
-they don’t take feedback well, they welcome it, but many other contract employees informed me it is quickly dismissed which is what I have seen first hand
This role is determined to use people as stepping stones to attain company goals and cast out whomever catches ón to the lack of consideration that is given to the fact that these contract employees are human beings and not androids.
