High Turnover Role, No Real Growth, Blame Culture from Management
Pros
The only real positive was that the company offered the salary I requested during the hiring process. If your only concern is getting paid what you asked for, they will likely match it.
Cons
Extremely high turnover in this role — someone new is hired almost every year. Management tends to shift blame downward. When issues happen, the manager reports to upper management saying HR is not capable, without taking responsibility. There is no space for growth or development. Even if you take on more responsibilities or go the extra mile, it’s rarely acknowledged — in fact, it might even make you a target. Toxic communication culture — not a collaborative environment, more about control and pressure. HR is often treated like a scapegoat rather than a valued partner in the business.
