Great Growth Opportunities in a Fun, Collaborative Environment

      Pros

Firstup offers a fast-paced environment where you’re constantly learning and growing, which keeps the work engaging and dynamic. There’s strong visibility to the C-suite, giving employees a real sense that their contributions matter and are seen at the highest levels. The company also has a robust recognition program that celebrates high performers twice a year, reinforcing a culture of appreciation. Collaboration is a clear strength—teams work closely together, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Despite being fully remote, there are meaningful opportunities to connect with teammates in person a few times each year. Overall, the culture is both collaborative and fun, making it an enjoyable place to build your career.

      Cons

None that I can think of.

      Management hammers employees down brutally!

      Pros

Good team, great people, except for management.

      Cons

No career progression and no life outside of work either! Management hammers employees down brutally only to reach their targets that even when they know themselves it’s nearly impossible to reach them!

      Pros

      - Great product with strong market potential. - Exciting new leadership with Bill as CEO, building momentum for growth. - Great benefits: unlimited PTO with bonus incentives to ensure time off, “distance days,” 401K, competitive pay - Professional growth opportunities and the chance to wear multiple hats - Supportive, collaborative colleagues — truly great people to work with

      Cons

As with any company in transition, there’s change happening — which can feel fast-paced at times. But overall, the direction feels positive and energizing.

      Pros

      Unlimited pto Good health benefits

      Cons

The company doesn't communicate effectively with employees. Key decisions are made without explanation, and employees are left feeling uninformed and disengaged. Also, there are limited opportunities for advancement or professional development within the company. Employees are stuck in their roles, and there's little support for career growth.

Not always smooth sailing, but there’s a reason I’m still here!

      Business outlook

      Pros

      - The product is genuinely strong and continues to evolve in meaningful ways. It’s easy to stay motivated when you believe in what you’re building. - Our customers are amazing; collaborative, forward-thinking, and truly invested in making the most of the platform. - New leadership has brought renewed clarity, focus, and energy. I have more hope and confidence than ever in the company’s future growth. - Great colleagues across teams. Smart, supportive, and resilient people who care about doing good work. - Competitive remuneration and solid benefits. - Real opportunities for growth and development if you’re proactive and take ownership of your career. - After four years, I’m still learning and being challenged in good ways.

      Cons

      - It hasn’t all been smooth sailing, there have been periods of change and uncertainty with poor communication. - As with many growing companies, priorities can shift quickly, which isn’t always easy. I will say there has been a genuine shift in a positive direction though, and these ‘cons’ feel like a thing of the past.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Most people are really great to work with. Majority of teams are composed of millennials, who bring a lot of energy. Benefits are solid with my favorite being distance days and fruity drink bonuses.

      Cons

Long hours, crazy deadlines, very stressful at times. I've seen many breakdowns and executive team doesn't seem concerned. Minimal recognition and limited growth. A company that sells a platform to maximize employee experience needs to do better.

Thank you for your feedback. As a growing company, we understand that our fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. Our commitment to serving Fortune 100 customers sometimes demands longer hours, but we remain dedicated to providing our employees with a rewarding experience.

High Autonomy & Expectations, Limited Advancement

      Revenue enablement manager
      Former employee

      Recommend

      Business outlook

      Pros

Autonomy & Ownership: You’re given a lot of trust and independence to build programs from the ground up, which is great for self-starters who enjoy shaping strategy and execution

      Cons

Resource Constraints: High expectations paired with limited tools and headcount can lead to burnout if boundaries aren’t carefully managed Limited Career Path: The lean team structure can make it difficult to see a clear long-term growth path
