What is the hiring process like at Five Guys?

ig the hiring process was pretty simple

They only use their most trusted workers with any of the important tasks, so you don't get a chance to prove your worth

I have been working there for a while now and I pretty happy with the compensation. Especially with tips and the secret shopper bonus.

However, I am displeased with the scheduling. I signed up for full time (40 hour weeks ) but end up working 20 - 30 hours per week. On top of that, they keep hiring new people so that they can cut our hours.

new manager came in and she hired people paying them higher than the people who already worked there. when i asked for a raise she told me that it was not her responsibility since she did not hire me.

Simple and easy menu to memorize. Most the prepping and cleaning procedures are the same across all stores (corporate and franchise).

No benefits. No room for growth. Manager position is maybe an extra $2-3/hr from crew member (red shirt). Store owner cuts corners too much. Equipment always broken or non-existent. Overworked. Unsafe working environments. Would not recommend teens to work here for part-time job.
