What is the salary like at GSK?

Corporate and hierarchical structure as you would expect at a company this size. You need to be comfortable with this and initially little ownership

-You get to work with some of the best people in pharma/vaccine R&D for what ever function you are in. -Pay is good , inline or better compared to other sponsor companies. - Some of the Employee benefits are great. -Broader scope to try move to various functions internally. Most Line Managers are supportive of career progression. - Company supports lot of training programs -good Leave policy

-Feels stagnant certain times. -Sponsor companies are highly influenced by pipeline health, so kind of relational to job security.

Long hours and not much PTO

They have an extreme wealth of experience from various global teams and experts. Processes are robust. Excellent diversity and inclusion schemes. Got very good development and experience when site based at GSK but not so much at all at the GSK HQ.

People are often cherry picked for higher positions. If you're not a favourite or a show off then you may struggle to get developed due to the culture at the GSK HQ. The salary really isn't good compared to other companies or when the quality departments are compared to other departments within GSK.
