What is the salary like at KnowBe4?

Knowbe4 has been an incredible company. The pay is very competitive if you are someone who performs well I was promoted to a senior level with 12 months in the company so room for advancement is there if you put in the work. Culture is huge here sometimes it can feel less like a startup and more corporate but it's not a terrible thing.

Not a big fan of the RTO policy of 3 days a week for the revenue team but there could be worse.

The people on your direct team. The KB4 family is priceless. Ability to expand knowledge constantly.

With GTM changes the whole revenue department is stressed out. Customer Success is BURIED in work after a major layoff. The CEO actually says when asked "CS doesn't have more work and no one is making LESS money" which is actually a load of you know what. CS has way more work, reduced salaries and new pay plans that mean they will never get paid commission, because the goals are unobtainable. He sounds out of touch. One of two things is true: no one is actually circling the complaints UP to him. Or he just doesn't care. Either way, the environment that used to be a fun, sane place where people want to work is turning into a money hungry number pusher.

The pay is so bad and the comp plan is always changing. Management has zero idea what is going on and what changes are happening until the day that they are rolled out. I would say that less than 20% of reps hit quota. They brought in consultants to evaluate why over half of our sales team resigned over the course of 2 months, said that they would increase our base salary, and then announced that if there were to be any changes it wouldn’t be until 2026. Management does not promote based on merit, it’s by favoritism. You cannot believe a single thing that is said to you because they do not follow through with anything that is promised. The overall morale is so bad, people are actively trying to get out of this place.
