some upper management conflicts with promotions and hiring those who did not deserve it. County "fired" and rehired part time workers which took away benefits that required to be re-earned again

Great way to get hands on professional experience in IT. Flexible hours working around your school schedule and school workload. Great pay compared to most entry level IT positions I've seen posted elsewhere. Would rate higher than 5* if I could. It was a privilege working here while I was getting my degree, and the experience I've gotten is invaluable.

The only real con is the lack of benefits since the position is part time. Must maintain enrollment in school to keep the position but that's a given considering it's a student position.
