One of the best thing about my position is that it's work from home.

Having meetings in person when it can be done virtually. If you want to transfer within the company, it's about who you know. Management should be required to take yearly leadership classes. Keeping employees who put in less than 50% of the work.

Reasonable pay and full time hours. Plenty of room for growth and overtime. Full benefits (insurance, 401K, fitness & lifestyle coaching, legal advice). Remote work from home for call center department.

High stress conditions during peak season due to high call volume/upset guests. Constant technical issues that require 24/7 IT support. No monthly stipend for meals or internet expenses.

If you want to know how not to do AML compliance this is the job for you especially if you want to be underpaid and verbally abused. Management is complicit in avoiding correct reporting and is seriously lacking in having any tangible AML knowledge. They are also some of the most negative and unhinged people I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The chief compliance officer is a complete bozo and that trickles down. In fact I am certain most of management is only in management because they were a warm body available at the time and someone liked them. So be wary of applying here because you are just setting yourself up for future ptsd. Plenty of other jobs out there, don't waste your time or skills with MGM.

Policy and procedures not solidified, ambiguous procedures/direction, uncoordinated workflow, inaccurate data from property controllers, lack of accounting controls preventing inaccurate records from property controllers, extremely tedious processes for journal entries, time consuming process for running reports, lack of transaction insight within oracle cloud unless running a report by individual property, lack of documentation on ambiguous accounting processes, overkill types of journal entries and month end reports done weekly.
