What is the salary like at Mary Kay?

The pay and benefits are great for a security job. The day to day isn't bad either depending on the shift. Pay raise based off yearly performance.

No higher management opportunities, only up to a Team Lead. Forced to attend medical training and earn state registry in order to promote.

People there like to pretend being busy but gossip around all the time. Office politics is really bad. Felt like being in a high school with those mean girls around. Being picked on by bad manager/director who lack fundamental management skills and do not learn. Hierarchy is stressed on a lot. Really old school culture.

promotes internal hires, but that never happens. If you start on the floor they won't see you as a manager now a days. Promotions always go to outside hires. They will change your entire schedule with no notice, and expect you to take it with a smile.
