What is the hiring process like at McMaster University?

Employees well supported through various addtional educational and personal support opportunities, tuition assistance, etc. Culture is progressive and optimistic. A good place to seek long term opportunties.

Compensation is reasonable but slow to adjust with market. Development of relationships with external parties is difficult with many layers within the organization. The administration has a difficult time with adjustment in new or complex situations.

This experience was very personally gratifying and allowed me to explore the academic applications of my degree, giving me insight to what a potentially permanent role in higher education might look like.

I mostly performed this role during COVID, so most of my time was remote. I feel as though I missed out on a lot of the experience because of this.
