No work life balance and no career path

Good environment, bonus and career advancement opportunities

Base salary is low compared to market

As a casino head cashier , only the operating system in the cashdesk makes a difference from other cruise lines. It’s very easy for accounting and transactions.

Not enough staff in the cash desk .. only the cage manager and 1 cashier , so, long working hours. No recognition , and poor support from head office and management team onboard.

-Pay always on time -Overtime always paid -Food card & public transport cover -No micromanagement, managers generally show a human face -Career opportunities within the company if you stay for a few years, both promotions and laterally. -Big name that will look nice in your CV -Occasional seminars and presentations to help you understand how the different departments operate & interact with each other and how the industry works

-Minimum wage -No raises, no matter your performance -Work during public holidays -VERY boring work. Everything is so compartmentalized you do one or two things, all day every day. -You tend to learn nothing on the job. The Filing department has the depth of a puddle. Every day is basically the same. -Very high employee turnover. Most people quit once they realize that they're wasting their time picking up no hard skills & for minimum wage.
