      Pros

Strong culture within the the tech universe; Great for learning and development - lots of courses available about any tech trends; Great for international exposure (Company is spread around the world); and Good overall work x life balance: People usually do not work long hours, but there are those who do and are not paid enough to do so. Flexibility* *This was the case for 2025, but 2026 has come with lots of changes in that matter given the American CEO's posture and expectations (Work from home, flexible hours and a broad flexibility concept scattered within the Company).

      Cons

      - Labour Legislation in Portugal (specifically related to legalizing Employers to hire extremely talented and seasoned professionals as 'Trainees' which should be renamed as 'INTERNS', because that is exactly what they will be treated, and paid for. - The same legislation permitted Employers, such as Nokia, to pay very little, to issue 6 days of paid time off for the WHOLE YEAR, to not entitling these professionals to any of the labour rights upon leaving (no extra pay as Christmas and/or holiday period - you leave the same way you. entered). - As any Tech Company, it has many unforeseen and not anticipated changes in the Org. Structure affecting lots of workers (including senior staff across the globe) - just like layoffs, but instead they do not call it a Layoff. - The extreme focus in decreasing costs took a great hit at the Company's quality: Lots of outsourcing without proper care, or structuring causing concerning obstacles and avoidable stress within impacted teams. - Talent turnover is quite high due to the above. - Bear in mind Portugal's Parliament is currently discussing changes into Labour Legislation that could make the scenario even worse for the working class, as outsourcing could be facilitated and dismissals shall become easier and cheaper for the employers.
