What is the salary like at Perceptyx?

Perceptyx is a growing company that offers great benefits.

The pay could be better and more competitive.

The people are second to none. All coworkers were intelligent and great to work with. They truly care about their clients, products, and peers. I believe Perceptyx is going to be successful. The CEO seems open and honest, and is very professional in all circumstances. I think they have a good business model and potential to be a profitable organization for some time.

Outside of the people, there's nothing unique or special about working for Perceptyx. Its not a bad place to work, and I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid applying, Perceptyx is just a standard mid sized company at this point. No surprise to anyone, as they've grown significantly over the past few years and its difficult to keep small company perks. Pay is average. Previously wasn't an issue as benefits/bonuses made up for it, but unfortunately that's no longer the case. Benefits are ok, but the cost has increased significantly. Not unique to this company, but still an added expense. 401K match hasn't gone up since it was decreased during Covid. The bonus program was eliminated for anyone below a certain org level. What's the incentive for ICs to put in extra time to achieve company goals? Even though things didn't work out for me personally, I felt like the company cares about it's people. Surely these were tough decisions made in the best interest of the organization, However, important information for future candidates who come here looking for honest reviews. My biggest concern was upper management. Some put in leadership positions who many don't believe are qualified to be leaders. They don't speak up, or have minimal experience in the field they are supposed to be leading. Often overlook the feedback of subject matter experts, and base decisions on article's they've read or the opinion of whoever they talked to last. I also don't believe they are being held accountable. The organization has disciplined ICs that followed a poor plan implemented by their leader, instead of the leader who created and forced the implementation of that failed plan.

Great people. Great customers. Great product.

What was a great company when I started, turned into a misguided mismanaged mess. I watched super productive and highly successful sales people get laid off for no reasonable explanation other than a reduction in staff. Only to find out the positions were back filled with new reps. All of the new people are connected to new leadership. Jobs were never posted internally or externally. Just new hires showed up. The process is continuing at present. The lack of transparency is alarming. Toxic to the point that it’s not even worth the pay. Such a shame as it’s a great company with a future but the new sales leadership is just bringing in their own people. Training is nonexistent. Never seen high performers exceeding quota get let go as they do at Perceptyx. Just awful.

PYX is a great company! We have a great flexibility but also work hard. Our people are amazing and some of the best people I have ever worked with.

Pay could be a bit higher, company wide communication regarding changes could also be improved.

Products are great and cutting edge. Many dedicated employees who truly support the mission and love working with customers.

Every time they miss a number, they conduct layoffs. They layoff good, top performing people who are helping them hit numbers. Their view is they make too much money but they are helping the company with revenue targets. They conduct round after round of layoffs every few months. Sad - a great company that is not managed well.
