What is the company culture like at Qumulo?

      Qumulo Review

      It specialist
      Current employee
      Seattle, WA

      Business outlook

      Pros

The company had a good work/life balance.

      Cons

The culture was terrible. One of the things they claim to value is being your "authentic self." But I didn't feel that was the case, at all. There were multiple layoffs. No real direction for the company. Constant change of leadership. Pay was sub-par for my specific role.

      Pros

The quality of the people I worked with was excellent. The product delivered exactly what it was supposed to do.

      Cons

Sadly, it all comes down to leadership and building a winning culture.

      Cons

No much growth Might feel disconnected

      Business outlook

      Pros

      - mostly lived out their culture - very supportive overall - learned tons! - got to do tons

      Cons

      - some people didn’t have the ownership mindset which made progress slower - because we were growing a lot at the time it was sometimes hard to manage the workload

      Exemplary Scale-up Company

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Resource efficiency Collaboration tool based communication increases transparency Openness to new idea and projects

      Cons

Lack of global presence and recognition outside of US

Good company for learning and taking ownership

      Regional sales director
      Current employee
      Rome
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Startup mindset Flexibility to manage time and initiatives Variable salary can triple your base

      Cons

Skinny team. You have to make things happen by yourself Long time for approving anything, since everyone's bandwidth is saturated by multiple hats Very few people have chance to grow professionally (title wise), since the overall team is skinny to the bone and not growing anytime soon. So the position you're hired for is usually the last role jump you'll ever do within the company.

      Great Company

      Cons

Worst leadership since the new CEO came on board. Toxic and unethical stuff going on.
