What is the hiring process like at Sedgwick?

      Pros

Great pay overtime opportunities excellent benefits package.

      Cons

Horrible management, many people leave, always new team members and new management, no one stays longer than a couple of years if even a year, from top senior leadership VP, Director, Team Leads everyone is overworked our trainer left because she was overwhelmed and had a stroke, put her in early retirement, after only two weeks of being there both my hiring managers left our team one the switch to another department that happens a lot also the other manager left the company she cried because she was there for them but they could not be there for her when she needed them the most I should have ran then, favoritism culture, unrealistic workload most of what I was told before hire did not prove true only the pay anything else, this place drove mental I had to go through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient therapy only to come back they fire me. It was the worst experience of my life at the age of 42 years young why me I told the VP, Director, and Team Lead all of them said we cry too it made no sense to me that I am crying over a job and having panic attacks I never had I will never allow a company to drag me again.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Remote, got the choice of a schedule

      Cons

As a new hire, I’ve experienced significant discrepancies in the onboarding process. The promised two-week training session provided insufficient hands-on preparation for phone duties, leaving me and my colleagues unprepared. Moreover, there’s a concerning misalignment between the initially communicated role and the actual responsibilities assigned. The lack of transparency from higher-ups regarding role expectations is disheartening. If you value your self-respect and seek a transparent work environment, I recommend exploring other opportunities. The disregard for employee concerns and the misleading information provided create an unfavorable work atmosphere. Consider this review as a cautionary note for prospective employees. It’s disheartening to experience a lack of genuine care from team leaders who prioritize their interests. The promise of growth opportunities feels hollow when the reality is different. Reflecting on my decision to join this company, I regret not exploring other options where the commitment to employee well-being might be more sincere. The idea of spending a significant portion of one’s life here only to attain a team leader position feels like a misplaced investment in personal and professional development.

      Pros

Disorganized, unclear hiring process. Wasted time, misleading job expectations. Offered lower-paying role unexpectedly. Unprofessional follow-up and poor timing. Lack of transparency from the start.

      Care team representative
      Current employee
      Memphis, TN
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

-Decent benefits. -Supportive trainers. -Fast hiring process. I was offered the job 30 minutes after the interview.

      Cons

-The input system and claims are very complicated for new hires. -Every second of your workday is micromanaged. It is not a sexy WFH job. -The company claims work/life balance, but there really isn't. -Breaks are too few during the day. -You're inputting life-altering information, but the metrics encourage speed, which is not the best thing.

      Pros

Working with a smaller team typically gives you a smaller family like feel and I have been able to experience this multiple times in my career with Sedgwick.

      Cons

At times they will forget about their Senior'd employees and raise the minimum wage leaving you way less paid from what a new hire gets
