What is the hiring process like at Sport Clips?

      Sport Clips reviews

Not what I was looking for

      Hair stylist

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The onboarding process was great. Sports Clips spends the time to train new hires in their methods and get them ready for the “Sports Clips Experience”.

      Cons

Once you are on the floor you are on your own. Other stylist cut you down to take your clients, you’re being rushed all of the time (even when the store is dead), and you’re expected to drop everything in your life to cater them. Not at all what I was looking for in a job.

Great training and community support for career growth

      Pros

This is my first job in the industry, 2 years out of school. the training provided was extensive and very helpful in getting me back in the groove of things. i was hired on as a stylist but im a hard worker coming from management experience and was determined to get my haircut times and sales numbers up which led me into the assistant manager position fairly fast! my hard work towards these simple things have also given me opportunities for bonuses and good tips! 5 months in and i’ve earned $100 just for having good survey scores from clients reviews, and a raise on my paychecks for hitting the company’s efficiency numbers. the sense of community specifically in the LeeHill franchise has been incomparable to previous chains i’ve worked at. they care and want you to improve for YOU! my manager has been completely understanding with my packed schedule and very flexible so i can still have time with my family while working full time.

      Cons

i definitely recommend sportclips with LeeHill for beginners, stylists looking for a steady career, or anyone in between.
