Pros
There are a couple pros at this company. Honestly, if you’re a student or a kid fresh out of high school this might be a perfect for you! However, if you have bills to pay, Tiff’s Treats isn’t where you should look. You get dozens of cookies free each week, and you have PTO that you can cash out at any time. If you’re a salaried manager, you get insurance and some time off to start off with. And if you kiss up to Tiff and Leon enough, you can get promoted. You also can get insurance if you’re a driver/kitchen, but that’s only if you make 40 hours a week consistently. And yeah, you’re not getting that.
Cons
There are a lot of cons for working here. For starters, the CEOs as far as I am concerned, look at their employees as pawns. Especially in the DFW-Dallas and Houston market. They always get onto salaried managers about labor costs, but never provide the resources to solve these issues from management themselves— nor do the DMs make it any better. The stores almost unionized (but they did enough union-busting to stop it) as a result, the pay was FINALLY increase for their kitchen staff, but it’s not enough because they cut all of their hours. As a driver, you may be able to get great tips, but you’re really less fortunate if you are kitchen staff. Because tips don’t exist for you. Oh, and on holidays, they offer a couple dollars more, but that’s only convince you to work like a DOG. Not to mention the DMs and upper management will be on you EVEN on your PTO or vacation. You’ll be held accountable for every mistake your team makes, EVEN for things you can’t control. Like when you take on a new store as a GM and you’re instantly bombarded with issues that you thought were in the past. Not to mention, most of them are getting paid a horrible salary and work 50-65 hours a week. OH! And HR is not there for you. Like if you get sexually harassed, or attacked by a customer, they absolutely will not care. And they try to protect their company’s “secrets” so well by trying to steamroll people and make them sign legally-binding agreements. It doesn’t stop outside of actual store fronts. The Cookie Command representatives are also mistreated and underpaid. They have to deal with rude customers and their managers never siding with them. As far as work and life balance as a salaried manager… good luck with that.
