What is the hiring process like at Vivint?

      Vivint reviews

It's a job, that's about all I'll say about it

      Technical support specialist
      Current employee
      Linden Circle, UT
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

-Decent pay -Good Benefits -Flex scheduling options -Good work/life balance

      Cons

-Training leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of conflicting information up front, and once you hit production you find out it's wrong anyway -Upsell, upsell, upsell - despite there being no mention of sales in the hiring process, once you're out of training sales is really the only stat you're held accountable for -call center politics, if you've worked in at call center you know what I'm talking about

      Experience working there

      Outside sales representative
      Former employee
      Dallas, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Interview process was smooth and well communicated.

      Cons

The interviewer wouldn't just say door-to-door sales, and say it how it was. Always tried to word it differently even though I already knew what the job entailed. Maybe people don't like the term?

      Avoid working here

      Tech support representative
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      You can work remote environment

      Cons

Training is heavily module-based with limited hands-on or real-time support.High performance expectations placed on new hires with minimal adjustment period. Metrics-driven environment with strong emphasis on sales. Limited flexibility and support from management. Corrective actions and performance monitoring are common early on. Workload does not align with compensation. Holidays are not consistently observed. High stress environment with little room for growth or open communication
