They were all around great to work with. It was really simple, straightforward and transparent. I let them know my timeline and they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend applying to work here. At the very least the opportunity to interview is great.

Question 1
When was a time you had to solve a technical challenge?
A few technical questions, questions about my experiences and skills. Discussions with the manager and director of engineering regarding my fit and the technical challenges that were faced by 23andme. It was made pretty clear to me that there was really inspiring work being done.
Involved a good amount of system design, behavioral and software engineering philosophy questions which I appreciated after the terribly impersonal interviews I had at larger companies.
I set up a phone interview with them after speaking with HR and they never called me back. The recruiter completely forgot about me, so I had to schedule for a second time. Very unprofessional

Interview
The technical questions were difficult. Felt like Leetcode medium and hard but overall a fair interview. The virtual interview experience was new to me but they did a good job executing it.
