      General Manager Interview

      19 July 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 2U (Boston, MA) in June 2018

      Interview

Had a phone screen with a recruiter. He then set up follow on interview that had to be rescheduled twice. Had a very nice interview but then never heard back from either the recruiter or the interviewer.

      General Manager Interview

      20 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at 2U (New York, NY) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Applied online and a recruiter asked to setup time. During our screening the recruiter went over the role and after I discussed my background he mentioned I would be a good fit for the role. He was transparent that there were others in the pipeline and he would get back to me on if I was advancing. After a week passed I followed-up and still no response. While I appreciated the initial transparency, this lack of follow-up and engagement leads to a very poor candidate experience, and reflects poorly on the company as this is the first interactions from 2U with candidates.
