Similar negative experience w/ this company's interviewing process to others' on here.
Typical HR tech screening call, followed by a very odd "optional", very long, in-house OR zoom series of interviews. Choosing the in-house was over a 2hr, round trip for a REMOTE position.
Interviews were pretty standard. They didn't even really understand what they were hiring for. At first they were having me do an AI "vibe-coding" exersize for React, for a UI-focused role, to then shifting the role to a more "full-stack" role. So the focus shifted mid-stream. Seems like some seriously broken communication going on.
Literally WEEKS of time between updates and scheduling for next steps w/ promises to set up next steps by a certain day/time, CONSISTENTLY missed over and over again.
After receiving a verbal OFFER that I said I would accept, after a few days received a canned rejection email without ANY explanation what-so-ever!
Given the massive amounts of scheduling misses and promises, thankfully, by the time this happened, I had pretty much just moved on and probably wouldn't have accepted a written offer by then anyway.
Absolutely unprofessional, disingenuous, and ultimately a HUGE waste of time!
Frankly, I wouldn't trust this company w/ being a dog-sitter, none-the-less to be a protector of "privacy" for public-facing individuals.
Avoid like the plague if you don't want to waste time in your job search. WAY better companies out there that won't treat you like this!
