3esi-Enersight interview questions

Phone interview was professional and very good. Very knowledgeable person and answered all my questions. It seemed like a great place to work based on the interview. After the phone process finished I was sent an assignment. It was a pretty standard case study assignment that was fairly vague. It could be completed in any language and framework you wanted and it could look as nice or bad as you wanted it to look. After completion of the assignment and testing on multiple computer (7 computers to be exact) I received an email that I was no longer being considered because the Director of IT was unable to open my project and run it. Once he “fixed all the compile bugs and ran it” it did not do what it was supposed to do. I find this extremely hard to believe. Perhaps this was a nice way of them saying they didn’t like the way I wrote code but I think I am capable of having that as a reason.

The process had two interviews. One behavioural and other technical (semi for me). First interview was with training coordinator and HR assistant (I think). Mostly questioned on soft skills and gauging on how well I would fit in with the team. Second interview was with QA manager and HR head. Most questions were on how to test for this situation, resolving problems, process of testing. Rest of the interview was behavioral questions. Both interviews were about 1 hour long.
