There was a bit of back and forth as to whether or not I would interview because they were waiting for confirmation that an employee would be leaving. I already knew some of the employees there, and came in for a field day first to see if I would enjoy the work before interviewing. After I confirmed that I would love to interview, there was a hiring freeze and I was put on hold for an interview. A few weeks prior to filing bankruptcy I came in for an interview with the supervisor and the manager. Both were very professional and up-front about the financial situation of the company. They made sure I knew what I would possibly be going in to. The interview was very casual and relaxed, and I felt at ease. Afterward, there was a delay because the former owner wouldn't sign off on the new hire paperwork. The manager was very patient in reassuring me that they wanted to move forward but that they were waiting on the owner's signature. A few weeks after my interview I received my official offer, and accepted.
