Interview lasted 8 min. It was a total joke from the get go. I sent them an email to cancel my second interview with them. I am glad I read the reviews on here to keep me from wasting my time with this company.

      Account Representative Interview

      1 May 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at 7 Marketing Group in Apr 2013

      Interview

You get a call within a few days and they want you to come in for a face to face interview. The interview only lasts 15-20 min but is so the hiring manager can see if you have the energy/potential they are looking for. After that they bring you back fro a second round where you go out in the field with them. You find out that they are contracted by AT&T to inform people of U-Verse service and you try to get them to switch services or upgrade their current services. You shadow from 12:45-8:00 and see exactly what you would be doing on a daily basis. You are doing door to door sales and walk around a neighborhood for hours. This job is 100% commission until you move up at least twice in the company which can take at least 2 years. If you are looking to eventually be an entrepreneur then this is a good job for you.

Thank you for your comments! In today's world there is still a high amount of people unemployed and under employed, that said we saw a hole in the economy. Recent grads who can't get a job for a year to two because they have no experience and the same degree people who graduated before them years ago that now have both the degree and experience. We choose to focus on the person who wants to gain skills in sales, marketing, brand development, leadership, and yes entrepreneurship. This skills acquired are transferable to all industries. One thing in sales is that everything is negotiable and we do have several options of pay/benefits. We offer salary, salary + commission, and commission all you have to do is ask.
