Good HR & Tech Lead Interview, But Confusing CTO Stage
The process started well with HR and Tech Lead interviews that were relevant and aligned with the role I applied for. However, the CTO interview felt very different.
The questions asked were far beyond the expected scope for a junior to mid-level position, leaning more toward fullstack-level expectations. This made the evaluation feel inconsistent, especially since the previous technical interview with the Tech Lead was already appropriate and aligned.
Unfortunately, this mismatch in expectations at the final stage led to my rejection. It would be better if the company aligns all interview stages with the actual role requirements to ensure a fair evaluation process.
