      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at A.I.S. (Seattle, WA) in June 2021

      Interview

Phone interview with behavior questions about how you handle situations such as working in a fast paced environment, living and working in tight spaces, handling seasickness. It was a lot of yes/no answer type questions. Then there was a virtual interview with more detailed response type questions. They also played deadliest catch clips to give an idea of what sea conditions might look like.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Do you get seasick? Are you able to work in small spaces? Some vessels lack toilets. Would you be able to use a bucket?
