      Customer Service Representative (CSR) Interview

      21 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at A1 Garage Door Service (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2024

      Interview

I received an offer to immediately interview. During the interview, I met with BS whom was 10 minutes late after I arrived early. He apologized but proceeded to tell me about the company and links I could vote for the first 25min. The interview was only 30min. long and it went over the scheduled timing due to him being late. The last 5 minutes he asked me like 2 or 3 interview questions and informed me it was not a real interview and that he was just prepping me for the real interview. I have never heard of that before. He set up a 2nd interview with CH and/or SJ, neither of which showed. I waited 30 minutes in the virtual lobby and reached out to B. twice. The first time to inform him no one showed up and the second time to inform him to reschedule if possible. He said he would reach out to reschedule. However, 10 min. later, I receive a text message stating thank you for applying, there are a lot of applicants and I was not chosen. I can understand not being chosen because it’s all apart of job hunting but wasting my time I can not. The 1st “interview” was not a real interview and the 2nd interview, no one showed. I could have been working instead of missing work for 2 pointless fake interviews. It felt like I wasted my time and did not receive an apology for it. Also, he had no clue what was on my resume until the meeting.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at A1 Garage Door Service in July 2026

      Interview

Only spoke to the recruiter. I thought it was weird that the recruiter wanted to chat via videos instead of just speaking on the phone. Conversation lasted less than 10 minutes and they stated I was a "good fit". Recruiter didnt seem insterested and was unable to answer my question when asking how many people were they looking for. A few days later I received to email with the generic response. Companies are not really looking to hire. Recruiter should come with better attitudes.

      Interview

applied on indeed for a remote csr job. they emailed me to do a one way interview for them (red flag one). i did it. got a phone call from a girl that asked me all the same questions that were in the one way interview basically after she said they liked my "interview" said she would schedule an "actual interview" with the guy who does them and get back to me. got a text saying it had been set for a certain time without ever asking me. later that day she called to tell me that was an error i don't have an interview time yet....ok...finally get one for a couple days out and do a zoom interview with the guy. he was pretty likeable and nice i will say in our interview. this is basically an entry level role for which i have extensive experience and get offered this jobs left and right and was not here even though i nailed the interview. oh well. i was not impressed anyway and this would've been a side hustle for some quick money b/c they only pay $13.50 hr and a dollar more for night shift and then you have to hope you make enough bonuses to actually earn a living wage which is not all in your control anyway and as other poor reviews stated, not likely as i assumed. was notified via the standard "indeed" rejection email letting me know that unfortunately, this company has moved on lol. after all that. nope.
