I had applied for the management trainee program through my college (Batch of 2019) There were a total of 4 rounds: CV shortlist, Online test (based on your specialization like EEE/ECE/Instrumentation) and the technical interview ( which was a video interview). All of these took place in the campus itself and were elimination rounds.
The final round took place in ABB innovation centre Bangalore, called the Graduation Assessment Centre, which consisted of the following : Behavioural Assessment (Personal Interview;Situational questions), Presentation Round ( Chart paper and sketchpens were provided; we had to make a business model based on the case study given to us) and a group discussion that was 40 minutes long.

I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ABB (Bengaluru) in Oct 2017
Interview
The selection process of ABB is very tiring, but one of the most amazing process I have ever seen. It starts with the online test which has 50 questions to be solved in 60 min. It includes everything related to your course and you should be thorough with basics in order to crack it. The technical interviews are held in Bengaluru. Mostly the interviewer asks about the projects done in the course and some questions related to power electronics. For ECE students, it will be beneficial if you study and go some concepts of power electronics such as thyristors, triacs etc. After technical interview, comes the GRADUATE ASSESSMENT CENTRE which consists of 3 activities. First is the behavioural interview in which they will ask about behavioural questions such as "Tell a situation when you had conflict with someone, and how you convinced him that you are correct". They will ask you around 10-15 behavioural questions. After this comes the presentation round in which a case study is given, and using chart paper and color markers, we have to present our ideas on the chart. Finally 45 minutes GD happens which consists of a very easy topic and about 5-6 HR will assess you based on the way you are presenting yourself during the discussion
