ABC Carpet & Home interview questions

I applied online and had to pass an "attention to detail test" as well as an Excel test. I was then contacted by the hiring manager directly. The conversation went okay and I was asked to submit a vendor proposal after the interview. I spent a few hours doing research and completing the proposal, sent the email, and heard nothing afterward. It would be nice to at least get a word back if they have their candidates go through so many steps.

I submitted for the position and they were interested. Then I did not hear from them for a month. They came back asking for a case study including an instagram grid example, instagram stories and a content calendar strategy for a month. Did not hear back for a month so I circled back to find that they were doing restructuring and putting a pause on hiring. It would be great if they knew that before asking for a case study.
