Interview
Je krijgt een thuisopdracht, op basis waarvan bepaald wordt of je wordt uitgenodigd voor een tweede gesprek. Tijdens dat gesprek gaan ze vooral in op je code en de keuzes die je daarin hebt gemaakt.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Waarom je bepaalde keuzes hebt gemaakt en hoe je eventuele issues zou oplossen
Initial round was with the manager, followed by a programming assignment then a follow up with some questions on the assignment and reasoning for the design pattern, best practices, unit tests and key responsibilities.

Interview
*** Another terrible experience working with recruiters! ***
In the first phase, only general questions were asked about me, which were carried out by the developer "instead of the recruiter".
The second phase was a technical task of creating a project from scratch and doing what you were asked, plain and simple. I passed this step.
Third stage was technical interview with two developers regarding your assignment which was a nice conversation with the developers and I really enjoyed our conversation.
To my surprise! The fourth step was the soft skill interview with the QA Engineer and the Product Owner! Wait a minute! I spent almost a week on the interview and assignment and I successfully passed, what if the soft skill interview goes wrong? They should probably rearrange their interview process. The interview for soft skills ought to be the first interview, not the last, one and so we won't waste out time if I’m not t a good fit. Soft skill is about having empathy/self-awareness etc. according to what I have explained, Do you think that hiring managers themselves possess these traits? because they substantially lack these attributes.
Anyway, they interviewed me, and fourth stage went smoothly too.
They told me I'll be hearing from them Tomorrow or max after Tomorrow!
4 days passed and still no news of them. after 1 week I reached out to the recruiter and she said: “I’m sorry for the delay, I'll come back to you beginning next week”.
Today I'm writing this review. 3 weeks have passed since the beginning of next week and there's still no news :)
This is not the first time I’ve seen such disrespectful behaviour from recruiters and not the first time seeing they are not good at what they do. They waste talents/energy/resources/money and end up hiring wrong people. All those cliched questionnaires that we all know and make fun of, and prepare our best lies for, comes from these unqualified minds.
We should get compensated for the time we lose.
ABN Amro is a good company however, recruiters are the worst to recruit! cause they've also recruit worst recruiters.
Let's say NO to recruiters.
