I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ACCC (Melbourne) in Aug 2022
Interview
Submit an online application (usually personal details, CV and a short pitch / response to selection criteria).
After they have short-listed, a panel of 3 interviewers will interview the short list. This panel is typically your line manager (EL2 Director), another Director and an independent Director (from another team).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1 - how your experience / skills align to the role.
2 - question re: a team member submitting a paper last minute / poor quality. How do you respond.
3 - what makes a good team.

Interview
I was interviewed by a panel of 3 people, and my experience was generally negative. Only slightly better than an AI interview in that the format was very textbook, they only read from their list of questions and didn't ask any probing questions. Basically felt overly robotic and not humanistic at all.
The next day they asked me to complete a psychometric test, which I did.
And since then, no response and no outcome. My application has been sitting as "Applied" for months.
I think it's a pretty poor experience, and a red flag if that's how they treat you when they are trying to entice candidates to the organisation.
