I recently went through an interview process for a Senior Business Analyst position. While I initially felt optimistic about the opportunity, the experience turned out to be a complete waste of my time and a display of extreme unprofessionalism.
After several rounds of interviews, I was informed that I was selected for the role. They even requested my payslips, which I provided in good faith. However, after a significant waiting period, I was informed that the Managing Director (MD) did not approve the offer. This lack of communication and apparent indecisiveness is unacceptable.
To have a candidate selected, collect sensitive pay information, and then retract the offer due to an internal approval issue is not only disrespectful but also a blatant disregard for the candidate's time and professional integrity.
This company's internal processes are clearly flawed, and their recruitment practices are appalling.
I strongly advise other candidates to proceed with extreme caution when considering opportunities. Be prepared for a potentially lengthy and ultimately fruitless process, where your time and personal information may be treated with little regard. Their conduct demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for candidate experience.
