Company interviewed me the previous year and turned me down. That interview consisted of fielding questions from the hiring manager about who do I know from the various jobs I had. So, I already had a bad image of the company and it was about to get worse. Recruiter scheduled Teams interview with two interviewers who did correctly show up to the interview. During the conversation, I learned that this company could have hired me in 2019 when I first applied. I was not allowed to interview with the hiring manager at that interview situation. The job they were currently interviewing me for was at the tail end of a 10 year contract. They had 16 months left on the contract. I felt like I would just be unemployed in 16 months since the company is not allowed to have the contract for another 5 years. So, everyone on the contract would be unemployed in 16 months. I was also very upset that they did not hire me when I first applied there in 2019. I asked them if they knew someone who is currently running the program they were hiring for. They said they did not have any contact with the person recently. But they did have contact with the person several years ago - when they first started on the program 10 years before.
