I had 4 rounds of interviews with ACV, including a formal presentation about my background and how I approach product management. I shared real life examples of my past experience with another company in the industry. I answered a steady stream of questions about the requirements gathering > launch of a very specific product, created at a competitor of ACV's newest, strategic product. Then - I get the run around for several weeks from the recruiter. I was told multiple times I was the #1 candidate. Then, nothing. Slow responses to emails with flat commentary. "Sorry this is taking so long", etc. As a company that prides itself on transparency, they should be ashamed of what happened during this interview process. I still do not have answers or feedback - despite being promised more info when I called the recruiter out for the lack of closure. I gave this company hours of my time, the least they could do was offer an explanation for why they are passing on my skills. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, to say the least.
