      Software Test Engineer Interview

      15 Nov 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AGCO (Bengaluru) in Nov 2023

      Interview

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent interview experience with AGCO. During the R1 interview, I was eagerly prepared to discuss technical aspects related to testing, yet the session primarily revolved around non-technical inquiries. While the scheduled hour was allotted for discussion, the interview concluded within 20 minutes after a brief introduction and general questions, which surprisingly lacked any technical depth. The rejection email citing a "lack of technical skills" came as a surprise to me, as the interview did not delve into any technical aspects despite my readiness and willingness to engage in such discussions. I believe constructive feedback is invaluable for personal and professional growth. If there were specific areas of technical expertise or knowledge that the company was seeking and were not addressed during our interaction, I would greatly appreciate knowing these details. It would assist me in better preparing for future opportunities. I genuinely value transparency and clarity in the interview process, and I hope this feedback will contribute positively to refining future interview experiences for both candidates and interviewers.
