      Intern Interview

      24 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AGM Manhattan (New York, NY) in Jan 2017

      Interview

Very unprofessional interview. I was asked to come to their office and when I got there, I saw a horde of people sitting in the reception. I think the same office hires people for 3 different companies which explains why the receptionist handed me a form to fill out with my personal details for the wrong company. The first interview was for 10 minutes with someone from their London office. He seemed more interested in talking about the company rather than interviewing me. I then got a call saying I have been selected for the second round. I decided to take a chance and attend the second round interview. This is where things got really weird. A guy said it was going to be a live interview and then took me out of the office to the subway station. Then we got on the train and all the while he kept rattling about the company from a word document and asking me to write down every word he said. We got off somewhere in Midtown and then he basically stood at a street corner and started talking to people. Every person who joins this company has to basically stand on the street and talk to people and try to sell something. Needless to say, I left the interview half way through.
