      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AJG Direct (London, England) in Aug 2019

      Interview

Quick and easy. Paul explained the business model and how everything works. They want to see you posses the entrepreneur spirit. You will see a lot of people in the office because they recruit regularly. Do not be discouraged because you could still be offered a place.

      Interview

SCAM- They are 'AJG Direct' under a new name. A multi-level marketing company (Pyramid Scheme). Check their Instagram/linkedIn- their employees are all the same. They will hire you as self-employed, so as not have to pay you fairly and offer you an 'attainable bonus' when, but only when, you recruit more people under you. They will only feed you small fragments of information through the interview processes, making everything sound very exclusive and 'if you're fortunate to hear back from us again we'll tell you more, but save your questions.' Confusing because the recruiter was very nice.

      Management Trainee Interview

      21 Nov 2019

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AJG Direct (London, England) in Nov 2019

      Interview

It didn't take long before I was invited to an interview after applying for the Trainee Management role. I was surprised how prompt they were. The interview was very basic: I was asked about my background and my career plans. After the interview, a few hours later I received a phone call. I was invited to the second stage of the recruitment process. I arrived at the office at 8:55 (scheduled for 9). With a bunch of other candidates we had to wait AN HOUR. After that, they matched us with one "leader" who was meant to be "the most important person for us on that day". It turned out then that I was taken to one of their "marketing events" which pretty much means that I had to take the train to some town outside of London (which I was not informed about before...), pay for my train ticket to get there. They never gave me a heads up that I'll have to travel with them outside of the city. The "event" means that they set up a stand in the middle of the street and pitching people to buy the product... Massive waste of time unless you are into pyramid scheme and into trying to sell a product in the middle of the street in the middle of winter...
