Only did the hackerrank problem set. 120 minutes long, 17 small problems with 3 big coding ones. Got the code to work, but having difficulty with the python 3 syntax, I did not know I cannot change the language and I have never used python 3 before.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
a bunch of definition multiple choice, 10 binary calculation and comparisons, running out of time for the design problem. Designs are straightforward, get a list of passengers, flying miles
etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL) in May 2021
Interview
Was given a coding challenge before any interview was given. I completed the coding challenge and got all the test cases correct in the time allotted. I would assume this would lead to the next step in the process, but instead I get an email a few days later saying that "the results of my testing did not meet their minimum requirements to move forward in our process." Completing the 140 minute coding challenge was a waste of time and I would not encourage others to apply if you value your time.
Applied online. Received an online assessment which has 13 questions (10 multiple choice questions, 3 coding questions) that need to be finished in 160 minutes, within 2 weeks of receiving the email.

Question 1
Multiple choice questions ask about tree traversal, two's complement, sorting and SOLID principle in OOP etc. Coding questions are very easy in terms of algorithm -- it is mostly about string/integer conversion, string operations etc.
