I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL) in July 2020
Interview
You are going to do lots of mental math, and a big personality assessment. I believe they are looking more so for creatives than rigid mechanical people. I can not stress this enough, you can probably cheat your way through the first section or two of the mental math, but they have you do it on camera, and then in office too, so you are just going to waste your time if you are not capable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It is like 3 hours of mental math throughout the process, I don't have a good helpful answer on a specific one for you guys, but basically any brain teaser is on the table.
The interview process consists of an online assessment, phone screen, phone interview, and final interview. The phone screen was with a recruiter, the phone interview was with a trader, and the final interview was with a trader.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
