Extremely Disappointing Hiring Experience with Alten: Lack of Professionalism and Respect for Candidates' Time
I had a profoundly disappointing experience with the hiring process at Alten. In January, I was contacted regarding the Engineering Manager position for Inditex. The initial phone interview seemed promising, and I was tasked with completing an assignment. After investing a significant amount of time and effort in preparing the assignment, I promptly submitted it. However, three months passed without receiving any feedback whatsoever regarding my submission.
This lack of communication and disregard for candidates' efforts is unacceptable. It's incredibly disheartening to invest time and energy into an assignment only to be met with complete silence. The Project Managers community is relatively small, and I feel compelled to ensure that my colleagues are aware of this negative experience.
While I understand that individuals can become busy, the failure to respond to emails from HR is simply unprofessional. If this is the treatment I received even before being employed by Alten, I shudder to imagine how I would be treated as an employee. I wholeheartedly advise others to steer clear of Alten. Their blatant disrespect for candidates' time is appalling, and they are not worthy of consideration as an employer.
