I applied for the job online and about a month later got a call asking if I was still interested, my availability, and the guy also read to be the rules for example hairstyles and tattoos. He then gave me a time and date for the interview which was the following monday (this was a saturday afternoon.) I then prepared for my interview by using this website and wore slacks, dress shirt, and dress shoes.
The interview was pretty good. I walked in and they had me sit in a chair to look at the rules, guidelines and the Stubs card and told me I would have to memorize it. After about 10 minutes of sitting the manager came up to me and introduced herself along with the supervisor and they took me to a small office.
They first asked me my availability to be sure then told me exactly what I would be doing in the interview.
Answer 4 questions:
-Describe a time you had to wait in a long line, how did it go?
-Describe a time you were at a dirty restaurant, how did you react to it?
-What would you say is something about yourself you are proud of?
-When did you have to overcome a challenge? Describe it.
The manager then told me I would have to sell a Stubs card to her and the supervisor, and that I could look at it if i needed to "Its not like an open book test or anything hahaha" she said. So I sold it to her and explained what it was, she then said okay you already did the next step by explaining it in detail and the benefits of it so I think that helped. The hardest part was the last one, which was to sell a Stubs card to a customer that claimed that don't come to the movies very often. I said basically you'd have it JUST IN CASE.
The manager then said it was over and I asked if they wanted to see my resume, I brought two copies just in case. She then told me that they were gonna finish up the interviews and I'd get a call by wednesday, 6 o'clock if i got the job. If i didnt get a call, i didnt get the job, simple.
I got a call at 5:23 PM that wednesday.
I suggest you smile, have a good sense of humor at least for that day, study the Stubs card, and use this site!
