Telephone interview with Director of Human Resources. Based on this initial interview, if she feels you would be a good candidate you are emailed a link to an online behavioral test that is specifically created by the employer to screen employees. It's lengthy, technical, and isn't based on any scales. It's like an actual exam with right and wrong answers. You may be scheduled for a second interview based on your test score. Interview questions are based on your testing. Questions are generated for any areas of weakness that were determined by your answers.
Finally, a third interview with the CEO is required. Questions are again based on that same test. Every step went amazingly well. I aced every interaction, test, experience, communication, etc. I completed each step with glowing confidence. Job offer and hire are contingent upon background check. From beginning (first phone interview) to the end (start date) took 2 months to complete. An amazing amount of time is placed on selecting just the right person. I felt great about the process the entire time, negotiated for a higher salary, passed every step. None of it mattered though. Due to unforeseen circumstances and events causing me to be late on the first day were all that mattered in the end. I was let go with zero debate or consideration for reality. Zero warning, no negotiation. They should provide the candidate with their answers and results to an equivalent test to see if the companies values match what YOU are looking for in an employer.
